From cybercriminal networks to malicious state-sponsored actors, there is an urgent need to address the online security risks and vulnerabilities threatening Canadian businesses. This demands not just technology solutions for cyber and information security, but also policy solutions — in law and regulation, but also through organizational policies and practices to plan for threats and ensure cyber resilience.
The Secure and Responsible Tech Policy (SRTP) program is offering a half-day Master Class on Cyber Security Policy for Professionals on January 23, 2025 from 12-4PM ET. The intensive session introduces learners to the digital threat landscape facing businesses and organizations and surveys the state of cyber security policy in Canada. The practical, applied session equips learners to support cyber resilience within their companies, through expert speakers and tools for shaping enterprise cyber policies and incident response plans.
The Master Class is offered by the Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI), with The Dais and the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University. Participants will receive an official Certificate of Completion from CCI and Toronto Metropolitan University upon successful completion of this course.
